The 2010 Season has begun in the EAHS Weight Room!

Preseason workouts for the 2010 season will begin January 4th.  Lifting will take place every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  The "Breakfast Club" will meet on those days from 5:30AM - 6:50AM.  Afternoon lifting will take place from 2:35PM - 4:30PM.  Middle School lifters (those currently in grades 6,7,8) will lift in the evenings (Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:30PM-6:30PM).  All players are reminded that they must complete an intramural consent form and return it to a coach prior to beginning the weightlifting regimen.

Please see a coach with any questions.

THANK YOU SENIORS!

Easton Football's 2009 Seniors certainly left their mark on the 115 year history of the program.  This group of young men won 28 games between their sophomore, junior, and senior seasons.  In those seasons, the players reached many milestones:

  • Competed in playoffs each of their three years (Districts in '07 and '09; Eastern Conference in '08)

  • Helped Coach Steve Shiffert become the winningest Head Coach in Easton Football History with their opening night victory over East Stroudsburg South in 2009

  • 2009 Lehigh Valley Conference Co-Champions

  • 2009 District XI AAAA Champions

  • Tied School Record for wins in a single season in 2009 (13)

  • NEVER lost to Phillipsburg on Thanksgiving, finishing 3-0

  • Extended our current winning streak over the Stateliners to 4

  • Named The Morning Call's 2009 "Football Team of the Year"

In their senior season, these young men truly restored Easton Football to where it belongs . . . on the top of the Lehigh Valley, District XI, and Phillipsburg!  Congratulations, Thank You, and Good Luck in all of your future endeavors.

Remember, "When you're a ROVER, you're a ROVER FOR LIFE!"

CONGRATULATIONS 2009 RED ROVERS AND COACH STEVE SHIFFERT!
