The series began between Easton High School and Allentown High School in 1896 and has withstood many changes in league affiliations including the Eas Penn League, the East Penn Conference, the Mountain Valley Conference, and the Lehigh Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference. Easton leads the series 57-37-5.

The 9th Iron Rover of this offseason is Junior Mark Hammerstone. "Hammer" has worked quite hard this offseason to prepare for his senior season. He has spent many hours in the weight room and taken on a leadership role within the team. Congratulations Mark on being named the 9th Iron Rover of 2009. Name: Mark Hammerstone Nickname: “M.C. Hammer”, "Lil' Stone" Grade: 11 Position: Tight End/Outside Linebacker/LongSnapper Role Model: Tom Wrona because he taught me to "Just Go Crazy" on the field. WHAT IS AN "IRON ROVER"? During this offseason, individual players will be featured on the Eastonfootball.org homepage as an "Iron Rover". "Iron Rovers" are players who display outstanding effort or performance in the weight room and during offseason conditioning workouts. These players will be chosen biweekly by the coaching staff and will be featured on the website with both a photo and short bio about the player. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! The weight room will continue to be open for football workouts during the following days and times. All football players should plan on regularly attending one of these workout times. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 6-7:30PM or 7th/8th grade team: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 9-10:30AM SPEED CAMP All Varsity Players should plan on attending speed camp workouts on Tuesdays and Thursdays during the summer from 6-8PM on the turf field. Booster Club Meetings: July 1, 7PM EAHS Rm H207 Donations of ice pops are needed for double sessions. If you are able, please bring a donation to the July meeting. Did You Know? Easton has qualified for playoffs each of the last 10 seasons beginning in 1999. In 9 of those 10 years Easton participated in District playoffs. This year they qualified for Eastern Conference playoffs. In 7 of those 9 seasons Easton has participated in the District Finals, winning gold in 2003 and 2004. Easton has played in 1122 games in the history of the program. In that time, EAHS has won 742 games. That total is #2 All-time in PA and #10 All-time in the USA!
